This was our third time as guests and we always ate excellent. The service is friendly. Unfortunately it is acoustically a bit exhausting - probably due to the beautifully bricked vaulted ceiling - if not to say loud. I can only rate it with 3 points (actually it was clearly "poor" last time with 2 points, I am now giving three points because it was "very good" on previous visits), because last time we were in October There were guests - yes, carelessly in the middle of the Corona stress, because we wanted to honor our father - it was very cramped for us, not at all aired and we actually had a feeling of gratitude to be able to be outside again almost in a hurry. The place was definitely too full, the air in it was stuffy. Windows did not open. We honestly haven't enjoyed that wonderful food. We assumed that the hosts were keeping an eye on the virus occurrence. Unfortunately, it was not like that; apparently sales and profitability were more important than the health of the guests. Meat that has been cooked too far through cannot be put back. My adequate portion would have ended up in the trash. SORRY, this is disrespectful handling of food. Therefore, I have personally discarded this path for myself. That a simple "Oh, I'm sorry!" thereafter the only possible option is the legitimate opinion of the owner and suits every village tavern. The whole thing didn't depress my mood or mood, just my assessment of the Vis a vis here in this medium and also when I asked about it in my personal environment.

For dessert we had crème brûlée and again there was nothing to complain about. All in all, the food was perfectly matched both in terms of craftsmanship and quality. Which of course makes the price noticeable. However, you did not feel it was too expensive, as it was really nothing to complain about and we have always friendly and attentive service. Probably the best restaurant in Osthofen but it is slightly pricey for Germany at 25-35€ per entree and 10-15€ for appetizers. Wine is really good
